Apple Boot Key Combos:
- Bypass startup drive and boot from external (or CD)…. CMD-OPT-SHIFT-DELETE
- Boot from CD (Most late model Apples) …………….. C
- Boot from a specific SCSI ID #.(#=SCSI ID number)…… CMD-OPT-SHIFT-DELETE-#

- Close finder windows.(hold just before finder starts).. OPT

Dos commands for network trouble shooting
- getmac – This tool will enable you to display the MAC addresses on a system.
- hostname – machine name on the network
- netstat – displays protocol statistics and TCP/IP network connections
- pathping – is a middle solution which bundles the functionality delivered by traceroute and ping
